Maria Shehata

Maria is een Egyptisch-Amerikaanse comedian uit Londen, die al heel wat awards won. Je kent haar van Dave Channel’s Comedy Guide to Life, Comic Relief’s virale Modern Dating Horror Stories en verschillende shows op BBC, Showtime en Comedy Central. Als schrijfster werd ze al meegenomen door de New York Times, British Comedy Guide en BBC Radio 4. Het Fringe Festival zette haar in 2017 in de Top Five Best New Acts en koos haar in 2019 als Pick of the Fringe. Collega-comedian Bill Burr: “I love Maria Shehata, she is funny on and off stage”. 

Maria is a multi award-winning Egyptian-American comedian, based in London.
