Etienne Jaumet is one of the pioneering electronica wizards of France. Born in 1970, he studied saxophone and sound engineering at The Conservatoire of Paris. He definitely is one of key players on the Versatile label, which was and still is a world wide quality mark for the famous French touch house music. Under many aliases alike Zombie Zombie Etienne produced a versatile of dance music, highly acclaimed by big shots alike Carl Craig, Luke Abott abroad and the whole scenery in France from Cassius to Air, from Daft Punk to Motorbass. Lately, Etienne Jaumet is focussing on more intimate and ambient electronica with his sax in the lead. His latest album 'La Visite' definitely is becoming an international brandmark in downtempo electronica. T h r i l l e d to have this living legend in France over, to play his larger than live album 'La Visite' alive and kicking from a to z. Et alors?

Both as frontman ( of his bands MCMIII and Nordmann ) and band member ( Sylvie Kreusch and Dijf Sanders ). He recently released two solo eps, flirting with minimalism, rain drops, pulsing beats, hypnotic solo parts, avant garde avant la lettre! Master at work!
