Antwerp-based Gnome present their third album: Vestiges of Verumex Visidrome.
The trio rips, pops and thunders through a landscape of stoner, prog and heavy metal, populated by mythical figures and with adventurous twists and turns.
After the release of “King” (2022) and the success of their self-made music videos, the band gained live experience on tours in Europe, UK and US.
Gnome headed to London in April 2024 to record their bigger, increasingly greasy sound under the direction of Wayne Adams.
With a healthy dose of humor, more vocals than on previous records and with an insatiable passion, these dotheads are ready to play the next set of festivals and tours.
TIMETABLE
20u00 - 20u30: WALL
20u55 - 21u30: TANKZILLA
21u45 - 23u00: GNOME
Tankzilla
Satan fucked a Panzer and the offspring is TankZilla: a two-headed monster (singer-guitarist Peter van Elderen & drummer Marcin Hurkmans) with the flattening power of a double-armored tank, armed with an arsenal of Godzilla-caliber riffs and beats. In the spirit of Repomen - Peter's roaring Roadburn alumni from a former life - the asphalt groove is pulverized into boogie grit. TankZilla goes wild.
WALL
An instrumental 2-piece heavy fucking riff machine, built brick by brick & riff by riff by twin brothers and Desert Storm members Ryan & Elliot Cole.
Their debut album ‘Brick by Brick’ is overflowing with unashamed Iommi-worshipping, instrumental, sludge/doom metal. With the band taking inspiration from the first 6 Black Sabbath albums as well as being influenced by the undisputed kings of instrumental stoner rock - the much missed Karma To Burn.
