Voor onze eerste samenwerking van dit jaar met de geëngageerde filmclub Movie Matters, waarbij maatschappelijk relevante thema's worden aangekaart en besproken met een gastspreker en het publiek, tonen ze deze keer DRUNK.

Vier bevriende middelbare school leerkrachten, met in de hoofdrol Mads Mikkelsen, testen de theorie dat ze hun leven kunnen verbeteren door het alcoholgehalte in hun bloed constant te houden. De eerste resultaten zijn zeer positief, maar dan blijkt het experiment grotere gevolgen met zich mee te brengen dan verwacht.

De film zal worden ingeleid en nabesproken door Movie Matters en Clemens Steyaert van het Centrum Geestelijke Gezondheid VAGGA. CGG Vagga biedt gespecialiseerde, ambulante behandeling aan kinderen, volwassenen en ouderen met milde tot matig ernstige psychische problemen of stoornissen en aan hun omgeving.

For our first collaboration this year with the engaged film club Movie Matters, where socially relevant topics are raised and discussed with a guest speaker and the audience, this time they are showing DRUNK.

Four friendly high school teachers, starring Mads Mikkelsen, test the theory that they can improve their lives by keeping their blood alcohol levels constant. The initial results are very positive, but then the experiment turns out to involve bigger consequences than expected.

The film will be introduced and discussed by Movie Matters and Clemens Steyaert of the Center for Mental Health VAGGA. CGG Vagga provides specialized, outpatient treatment to children, adults and the elderly with mild to moderately severe mental health problems or disorders and their environments.
