Een jonge idealist neemt een baan bij een lokale staatswijnmakerij, maar ontdekt en raakt gedesillusioneerd door de corruptie van de Sovjetstaat. A young idealist takes a job at a local state winery, but discovers and becomes disillusioned with the corruption of the Soviet state. An initiation story about young Niko's first days in a wine cooperative, in which he learns both work and love.
