In 1969 vindt de jonge Alan Parrish een eeuwenoud bordspel, Jumanji, en neemt het mee naar huis. Het mysterieuze en magische spel transporteert Alan naar een woest woud in een mythisch rijk vol wilde dieren en gevaarlijke figuren. Zesentwintig jaar later komt het bordspel in de handen van weeskinderen Judy en Peter. Wanneer ze het spel beginnen te spelen, bevrijden ze onwetend de nu volwassen Alan. We slaan opnieuw de handen in elkaar met spellencafé The Playground voor de tweede editie van SCREEN2PLAY, een filmische bordspellenavond die gehost wordt door podcast- én grappenmaker Fokke van der Meulen. Na de vertoning van de nostalgische fantasy avonturenkomedie JUMANJI op het grote scherm kan je afzakken naar ons café voor bord- en kaartspellen afgestemd op het avontuur thema van de film. Een combiticket verzekert je toegang tot de film én het spelcafé. Voor de film zijn ook losse tickets beschikbaar. Geen reservatie voor het spelcafé maar toch zin in een spelletje? In 1969, the young Alan Parrish finds a centuries-old board game, Jumanji, and takes it home. The mysterious and magical game transports Alan to a forest in a mythical realm full of wild animals and dangerous figures. 26 years later, the board games falls in the hands of orphan children Judy and Peter. When the begin playing the game, they unknowingly free the now grown-up Alan. But that's not the only thing coming from the world of Jumanji... The only way to save themselves and their loved ones is finish the game.
