Voormalig topcrimineel Gal Dove (Ray Winstone) ligt lekker te zonnen aan de rand van zijn zwembad aan de Costa Del Sol. De psychopaat Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) komt de uit vorm geraakte Gal recruteren voor een bankroof in Londen. Gal ziet dit allesbehalve zitten aangezien hij zich had voorgenomen voorgoed te breken met het criminele leven. Don Logan neemt echter geen 'no for an answer' en doet er alles aan om Gal op andere gedachten te brengen. Kingsley baseerde zijn bloedstollende vertolking - naar eigen zeggen - grotendeels op zijn eigen grootmoeder.

Former top criminal Gal Dove (Ray Winstone) is sunbathing on the edge of his pool on the Costa Del Sol. Psychopath Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) comes to recruit the out-of-shape Gal for a bank robbery in London. Gal doesn't like it as he had resolved to break with the criminal life for good. Don Logan, however, takes no 'no' for an answer and does all he can to change Gal's mind. Kingsley based his blood-curdling portrayal - by his own admission - largely on his own grandmother.
The film will be screened on 35mm!
