Een vrouw bereikt iets groots; een man strijkt de eer op. Deze docu-fictie onthult het ware verhaal van Eileen Gray, de architect van het modernistische meesterwerk E.1027 aan de Franse Rivièra. Met prachtige archiefbeelden en vakkundig nagebootste scènes brengt regisseur Beatrice Minger dit dramatische verhaal tot leven. Ze toont hoe Le Corbusier, een vriend van Grays partner Jean Badovici, zonder toestemming muurschilderingen op het huis aanbracht en de eer voor het huisontwerp opeiste. Met deze film herstelt de regisseur Grays rechtmatige plaats in de geschiedenis van de architectuur.

De eerste vertoning op 4 maart zal plaatsvinden in aanwezigheid van regisseur Beatrice Minger en met een introductie door Hülya Ertas van VAi en Joyce Palmers van De Cinema. Through stunning archival footage and expertly recreated scenes, director Beatrice Minger brings this dramatic tale to life. The first screening on March 4th will be in the presence of director Beatrice Minger and with an introduction by Hülya Ertas from VAi and Joyce Palmers from De Cinema.
