Wiegedood is the Belgian pride of black metal. The trio - Levy Seynaeve (vocals, guitar), Wim Coppers (drums) and Gilles Demolder (guitar) - is internationally known for their rabid music and rock-solid live reputation.
At De Studio, they will play a complete new soundtrack to Teinosuke Kinugasa's enigmatic Japanese silent film A Page of Madness (1926), a long-lost masterpiece set in a mental institution.
Expect electro-acoustic soundscapes, ferocious outbursts and some ingeniously incorporated snippets of existing Wiegedood songs.
A film concert for fans of the heavier genre, but also for fans of experimental music and art house film.
