Verlegen voetbalfan Percy Winthram uit Manchester trekt met een groep vrienden naar London om de FA Cup Final te kijken. Shy football fan Percy Winthram from Manchester takes the trip to London with friends to see the FA Cup Final. The friends go for a night out in Soho and after a bet, Percy goes on an adventure with a lady of the night. As the night progresses, the naïve young man starts to believe that he has found true love. In her final film, Muriel Box shines a light on human relationships.
