The action documentary STUNTWOMEN: THE UNTOLD HOLLYWOOD STORY follows the evolution of stuntwomen on the big screen, their struggles to perform on the highest levels and their fight to be treated equally and to value. The documentary takes a look behind the screens of the biggest blockbusters and introduces the viewer to the women who would otherwise remain invisible: the female stunt performers who lead the action from the earliest serial queen serials, like THE PERILS OF PAULINE (1914) to the biggest blockbusters today.

FAST & THE FURIOUS action hero Michelle Rodriguez narrates the documentary, which is based on Mollie Gregory’s bestseller. The women behind the screens risk their lives to make the action and the entertainment on the big screen as believable as possible. Director April Wright lifts the veil and places stuntwomen working today next to stuntwomen who worked before to show how much the industry has changed. But the reality remains the same: stuntwomen do not receive the credits due to them. And STUNTWOMEN hopes to change that.
